Home Firearm Safety

This course fulfills the Massachusetts State Police LTC Basic Firearms Safety Course Requirement Certification LTC-007 for FID Cards and LTC's. 2 Certificates are issued after completing this course and are suitable for framing.

Program Length: Approximately 4 1/2 - 5 hours (to complete the course in one session!)

Program Type: Non Live Fire, but you will handle Revolvers, Semiautomatic Pistols, Rifles and Shotguns.

	Identifying and Unloading Different Firearms
	Types of Ammunition
	Cleaning and Storage
	Massachusetts Laws Pertaining to Permit Application, Firearms Storage and Transportation
	Pitfalls with the Application Process; What to say and what not to say.

This course has limited seating due to the amount of time required for firearms handling to stay within the approximate 4 1/2 - 5 hour length.

Group course schedule dates are updated toward the end of the month for the following month. We also offer individuals the option of having a semi-private non scheduled course if the above scheduled courses do not fit into a persons schedule based on our availability. Registration: Please complete an application on line. You will receive a seat confirmation and directions to the class when your application and payment is received. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.

We will call you to establish the training date upon receipt of payment if no training date has been chosen on your application.

Non Scheduled Course................	$150* / person, 2 person min. with registration & payment.
Off Site West of Rt. 128...............	$250* / person, 2 person min. with registration & payment.
Off Site East of Rt. 128................	$350 */ person, 2 person min. with registration & payment.

* The above referenced prices are for payment made by cash, check, or money order and include a 4% discount. You may reschedule your confirmed attendance for one other date if done so at least 5 days prior to the scheduled program. Program Costs are non refundable. Personal Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $40.00 Bank Fee.

Replacement black and white copies of original paperwork is available for $10.00 by cash, check, or money order and include a 4% discount.
