Children and Guns: Are They Safe At or Away From Home?

Program Length: Approximately 3 hours

 

Program Type: Non Live Fire

 

Description: Offered at PTO Meetings, Organizational Meetings, Club Breakfasts, etc to educate to groups of Adults and Parents about keeping children safe from guns at or away from home. Many things are not in your control. Should you talk to your kids about guns even if you don’t own one? What if you do? Do you or your children know what to do if you or they find a gun on a playground or street? What if they find an improperly secured firearm at a friend’s home? Are you taking a risk by not discussing this crucial topic with your children? Can they tell the difference between a real and toy gun? Can you?
