About the Course

Armed Response 3 is where the essential skills of Armed Response 1 and the extremely close quarters shootings techniques of Armed Response 2 are combined and greatly accelerated to the next level; true handgun fighting. Armed Response 3 gives you the skills to help you defeat a lethal assault.

From contact combat and physical skills to fighting under adverse conditions, Armed Response 3 is as close to a real-life live or die fight that training can replicate. It is intense, exhilarating, and extremely realistic. This class truly distinguishes the differences between handgun fighting and just shooting and should not be missed!

This class has it's foundation based on David Kenik's Armed Response Shooting Guide to using firearms for self defense. You can order the Armed Response Shooting Guide to prepare for this class and know what to expect to get the most from the class.

Program Length: 2 days, approximately 16 hours (many hands on activities!)

Program Type: Lecture, Hands-On Demos and Live Fire,

Course Type: Group or Private

Prerequisites:

	Firearm safety rules
	Familiarity with shooting techniques
	Proper gun handing
	Armed Response 1 or Armed Response 2

Required Gear:

	Duty/carry firearm with carry holster or duty belt
	At least 3 magazines (or speedloaders) and mag holders for at least 2 mags (the more the better),
	At least 1000 rounds of factory ammo (depending on how much you want to shoot - no reloads)
	Eye and Ear Protection
	A Baseball or Brimmed Cap
	Knee and Elbow Pads (Optional)
	Concealment Garment (Vest or Jacket and a Pullover such as a Sweatshirt)
	Pen and Paper for Notes
	Snack Food and Bottled Water ( Arrangements will be made to send out for lunch)

Registration: To pre-register, please complete a course application and send it with a post dated check or money order made payable to Mike Burchman or submit payment on line with a credit card followed up with the course application. A set of driving directions to the course will be sent to you via email or mail if time permits before the class.

The 2008 Group Courses will be:

Group Course Cost: $400 per person Check or Money Order (includes a 4% discount)

Non Refundable Deposit: $80 per person Check or Money Order (includes a 4% discount)

If you'd like to pay with either Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, or Pay Pal, you can do so via Pay Pal on an encrypted secure website but will not receive the 4% check or money order discount. Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $40.00 Bank Fee.

Private Courses: To be arranged with David Kenik for mutually agreeable times and dates.

Non Refundable Deposit: $280 per person Check or Money Order (includes a 4% discount)
